What we collect
This website has no sign-up, no contact form and no advertising. We collect personal data in two limited ways:
- Server logs. When you load a page, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.
- Messages you send. If you email or call the Office, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to include in your message.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Server logs are used to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix faults (our legitimate interest in running a safe website).
- Messages are used only to reply to you and to arrange meetings, visits or speaking engagements (your request, and our legitimate interest in responding).
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
Who processes it
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which processes server logs on our behalf under its data processing terms. Email is handled by our email provider. Data may therefore be processed outside Pakistan; we rely on our providers' contractual safeguards for these transfers.
How long we keep it
Hosting logs are kept by Vercel for a short period (typically no longer than 30 days) and then deleted. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and is reviewed at least once a year.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media trackers, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to opt out of. Your browser may store a small amount of data locally to display the site; this is not used to identify you. If we ever add analytics, we will update this section and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email presidentoffice.gift@gmail.com with your request; we will reply within 30 days. We follow Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and, for visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
